According to Aobi, Sequoia Capital, the top global VC institution, has injected capital into Aobi in recognition of its “New Concept for Children’s Green Network”.
“No monster attacking, no upgrading, no bundling”—the new concept for children’s green network initiated by Aobi has dramatically changed the design of the existing products in Online Community. It is committed to building itself into a pure green children’s internet platform which focuses on children’s fairy stories based on cartoon community, and integrates intelligence training and study with leisure and recreation for children.
Neil Shen, the founding partner of Sequoia Capital China, noted that Sequoia pumped investment in Aobi under Baitian Information mainly because of the positive trend, the innovative product design, as well as the future strategic planning of Baitian Information for China’s children’s internet market. Sequoia Capital China is very optimistic about the great potentials of the children’s internet market in China.
